Delete your data

You can ask us to delete your DueDateAlerts account and all the data that goes with it at any time. This includes anything we received when you signed in with Google or Facebook, or confirmed your number on WhatsApp.

How to ask

1. Email support@duedatealerts.com from the email address you use for DueDateAlerts, with the subject "Delete my account".
2. If you can no longer use that email address, tell us your registered mobile number instead, and we will confirm it's you before deleting anything.

We reply within 3 working days, and delete your data within 30 days of your request.

What we delete

• Your account: name, email address, mobile number and password hash.
• Your reminders, the people you send them to, and Helpy's memories.
• Your app notification devices and WhatsApp agreement.
• Anything we received from Google, Facebook or WhatsApp when you used them with DueDateAlerts.

What we must keep

Payment records and GST tax invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires (usually 8 years). They are not used for anything else.

Without deleting your account

You can also delete single items yourself at any time: reminders on the Reminders page, family contacts and devices on the Contacts page, and Helpy's memories on the Helpy page. You can stop WhatsApp reminders with "Turn off WhatsApp" in Contacts, and stop emails with the unsubscribe link in any reminder.
